Located in a remote region on the border between the Dominican Republic and Haiti, this center will server the poorest communities in the Western Hemisphere. Yes, we make big commitiments and we, the volounteers and donors of IMA keep our promises.
The new Surgical Center, our third such facility, will give IMA Medical a broader reach into the remote areas of the Dominican Frontier and the mountains of Haiti.
Our surgical centers and clinics have proven to be a cost effective approach to providing healthcare. We are able to leverage the center by preforming more surgeries while volunteers are in country. It also acts as a base of operations to launch our remote village visits, and the upper floor houses volunteers.
